Dear friends and compatriots,

Following our letter of October 2010, we have the great pleasure to
confirm the IXth Euro-Armenian Easter Games of UAS which will take
place in Geneva from 22 to 25 April 2011.

As you know, this IXth edition of the UAS games will be a particularly
significant and exceptional one. Indeed, by a matter of chance, the 24th
of April 2011, the Armenian Genocide Memorial Day coincides with the
last day of the tournament.

Taking advantage of this extraordinary opportunity, the Organizing
Committee of the games has decided to organize the biggest Armenian
Diaspora youth gathering in Geneva for the commemoration of the 96th
anniversary of the Armenian genocide.

Pour donner suite à notre communication du mois d’octobre 2010, nous
avons le très grand plaisir de vous confirmer la tenue des jeux sportifs
intercommunautaires arméniens de l’Union Arménienne de Suisse du
22 au 25 avril 2011 à Genève.

Comme vous le savez, cette IXe édition des joutes de l’UAS revêt un
caractère particulier, car, par le hasard du calendrier, le 24 avril 2011,
date de la commémoration du Génocide arménien, tombe le dimanche
de Pâques clôturant nos jeux.

Profitant de cette extraordinaire opportunité, le Comité organisateur des
joutes de Genève a décidé de préparer le plus grand rassemblement de
nos jeunes de la diaspora venus à Genève pour commémorer le 96ème
anniversaire du génocide arménien.
